چکیده
Summary Stable and efficient perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells require defect passivation suppression of light-induced phase segregation the wide-band-gap perovskite. Here, we report how molecules containing both electron-rich electron-poor moieties, such as phenformin hydrochloride (PhenHCl), can satisfy requirements, independent perovskite's surface chemical composition its grain boundaries interfaces. PhenHCl-passivated (?1.68 eV) perovskite p-i-n single-junction deliver an open-circuit voltage (VOC) ?100 mV higher than control devices, resulting in power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) up to 20.5%. These devices do not show any VOC losses after more 3,000 h thermal stress at 85°C a nitrogen ambient. Moreover, PhenHCl improves PCE textured from 25.4% 27.4%. Our findings provide critical insights for improved metal halide surfaces fabrication highly stable perovskite-based cells.

Light-Induced Phase Segregation in Halide- Perovskite Absorbers
In the few short years since the inception of single-junction perovskite solar cells, their efficiencies have skyrocketed. Perovskite absorbers have at least as much to offer tandem solar cells as they do for single-junction cells due in large part to their tunable band gaps. However, modifying the perovskite band structure via halide substitution, the method that has been most effective at tun...
متن کاملMetal halide perovskite light emitters.
Twenty years after layer-type metal halide perovskites were successfully developed, 3D metal halide perovskites (shortly, perovskites) were recently rediscovered and are attracting multidisciplinary interest from physicists, chemists, and material engineers. Perovskites have a crystal structure composed of five atoms per unit cell (ABX3) with cation A positioned at a corner, metal cation B at t...

A lead-zinc carbonate ore sample containing 2.5% Pb and 9.39% Zn was used in this research work. The sample was prepared from the Darreh-Zanjir mine located in the Yazd province (Iran). Influences of the influential factors on flotation of smithsonite and cerussite were investigated. Among the different parameters involved, dosages of the dispersant, depressants, sulfidizing agent, and collecto...

This Perspective outlines basic structural and optical properties of lead halide perovskite colloidal nanocrystals, highlighting differences and similarities between them and conventional II-VI and III-V semiconductor quantum dots. A detailed insight into two important issues inherent to lead halide perovskite nanocrystals then follows, namely, the advantages of defect tolerance and the necessi...
متن کاملMetal halide perovskite nanomaterials: synthesis and applications
Nanomaterials refer to those with at least one dimension being at the nanoscale (i.e. <100 nm) such as quantum dots, nanowires, and nanoplatelets. These types of materials normally exhibit optical and electrical properties distinct from their bulk counterparts due to quantum confinement or strong anisotropy. In this perspective, we will focus on a particular material family: metal halide perovs...
